My friend Erin let me in on this little secret. If you make less than $26,000 a year and it's available in your area you can get free internet, phone, and cell phone service...
Also, check out Magic Jack. My friend just got one. It's a jack that you hook up to your computer and you can hook up a regular phone! Unlimited local and long distance, free voicemail, caller ID, and call waiting! It's $40 and that includes the first year of service and then it's $20 a YEAR! We are stuck in a contract for our cell phones (we don't have a land line), but when it gets close to being up we are thinking about cancelling my husband's phone (he has a work phone) and going prepaid for me and only use our phones for emergencies. The reviews for it are really good.
Whether you're financially stretched, wanting to save some extra cash or just addicted to good deals "I'm Frugal" is where it's at. Food storage, groceries, cooking tips, clothing sales, whatever. We're up for it all!
We're always up for more contributors and great ideas. Drop me a line at vanandlori@gmail.com.
The contributors to this site are not paid to promote any products or websites. You won't see any ads along the sidebar, because we aren't taking any money from companies to tell you how wonderful they are. We are just a bunch of moms who got together and are trying to find ways to be as frugal as we can. If it helps you, please let us know! Thanks!
