Homemade Syrup

I made this today. SOOO....easy. So "healthy" :-). Pretty good.

2 cups brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
1 cup water
1 tsp. maple flavoring (I used almond because that is what I had. It was really good)

Whisk together in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar is melted. (Make sure not to walk away while the burner is on high. It will boil over a bit if you do this. Burning sugar isn't the best smell...oops!)

This makes enough to fill a 24 oz syrup bottle. I figure that it costs about half as much as regular store-bought syrup. Make sure to store it in the fridge.
