Are We No Longer Frugal???

Hey Everyone! It' s been 15 days since our last post. Have we officially run out of ideas? I certainly hope not! I am making a commitment to this blog. Every week I will try something new and blog about it. I'm also going to start throwing out frugal questions to see if I can generate some ideas.

Question: I am NOT crafty. I try, but it takes me a long time. What are some crafty-illiterate-friendly ideas of homemade games to make? We recently moved in with my in-laws for a temporary period of time. They have NO kid games and ours are all packed. I don't want to go and shell out $20 for Candyland or another uber fun kid game. Thoughts? Any website ideas? Other fabulous FREE game ideas for 6 year olds?

"I spent $1.80 for $30 worth of local restaurant gift certificates. The ones I just got include Braza Grill, CJ's and Santa Monica Pizza. Yum.

Restaurant.com is selling their already discounted restaurant gift certificates for 80% off! You can get a $25 gift certificate to various restaurants for $2! I got $10 gift certificates for 60 cents each. The code for the 80% off sale is MENU.

Just watch out, though, because they come with special conditions. For instance, most of them have minimum you have to spend (typically $20 for a $10 gift certificate), some are lunch only, and so on..."

March Food Co-Op Reminder

For those interested in Utah, Food Co-op orders need to be recieved by Friday March 13th. You can mail them, call or fax your order in.  The menu looks great this month!!

Baby Food

Last night I was shopping at Walmart and was surprised to see the Gerber stage 2 baby food (the two packs) on sale for .84 a piece. In case any of you are buying baby food for whatever reason, this is a great deal. They used to be 1.14 for awhile and then they dropped the price down to 1.00 a few weeks ago. But the .84 is a good deal.
